Anyone who has ever struggled with his or her weight knows that snacks are big obstacle to weight loss success. In fact, more often than not, it was all that snacking that led to overly large waistband in the first place. This delicious, low fat, high protein snack food is quite satisfying and contains nowhere near the amount of chemicals and additives you’ll find in candies and other junk foods. In fact, beef sticks can be chopped into smaller pieces and added to healthy trail mix concoctions with dried fruit and nuts.
The key to enjoying this, and all snacks, is to exercise moderation. Even the healthiest snack isn’t going to be good for you if you’re spending all afternoon mindlessly shoving it into your mouth. That’s simply not the way jerky is meant to be enjoyed.
